- NATURAL COLLECTION
- Colour is achieved in the Natural Collection through a sophisticated carbonisation process. The bamboo strands are steamed which causes the natural plant sugars caramelize resulting in a darker colour. This process transforms the golden "Natural" to the rich brown of "Coffee". Each board produced by this random process is unique.
- The innate colour variation of bamboo produces a character and individulity unmatched by man-made floors. A floor from the Natural Collection typically contains a palate of perhaps 5 different shades of colour, as product harvested in colder temperatures is generally lighter in tone that product harvested in the winter months.
When installing your floor, care should be taken to ensure you blend the light, medium and dark boards to leave you with a natural finish. - DESIGNER/ELEMENTS COLLECTION
- Our Designer/Emements Collections are created by the topical application of water based pigments to the surface of carbonized strand woven boards using our new StyleGuard™ coating technology. StyleGuard™ technology ensures a flawless finish with excellent adhesion to the substrate and superior scratch and stain resistance.
The natural variances in colour will also be evident in a more subtle way across our Designer Collection as each tone is applied to our carbonised boards for a rich and varied result.
