STYLEGUARD™ COATING TECHNOLOGY
Developed in partnership with Klumpp, this exciting technology represents a real breakthrough in terms of applying colour to strand bamboo. The denseness of the substrate means that traditional oils and stains cannot be absorbed into the boards like they can with wood, so any colour added must form an additional layer on the top of the board. Without StyleGuard™ technology, this top layer is often patchy, opaque and extremely easy to scratch and wear through. Our new StyleGuard™ coating system has been designed specifically for our strand bamboo and ensures excellent coverage and superb scratch and stain resistance.

With our industry breaking double application of pigment, the natural beauty of the bamboo grain is able to shine through and give you a stunning finish your customers will love. With an emphasis on a subtle tone rather than a heavy stain, the natural colour variation of the bamboo shines through creating a gorgeous range of light, mid and dark boards within each colour.
